A real EU medical degree - built to bring you home as a doctor.
We place Indian students into English-taught medical programmes across the EU & Schengen Area, at tuition under โฌ20,000 a year- and only at universities that satisfy India's NMC licensing rules.
Four promises every other agent can't make
Most MBBS-abroad agents send students to Georgia, Russia or Central Asia. We do the opposite - and we built our whole model around the things that actually matter to an Indian family.
EU & Schengen only
A genuine European Union degree - not a non-EU shortcut. Every destination is an EU or Schengen member, opening doors across Europe.
Under โฌ20,000 a year
A hard tuition cap, with countries from ~โฌ5,000/year. Predictable, transparent fees - a fraction of an Indian private college.
NMC-compliant, always
We only list universities that meet India's FMGL 2021 rules, so your degree is valid for FMGE / NExT and practice in India.
India-first support
From NEET to landing - counselling, visa, relocation and on-ground help to get you settled into your European medical degree.

Why study medicine in Europe?
For an Indian student, a European medical education offers something a domestic seat rarely can: a globally respected degree, genuine affordability, and a launchpad that reaches far beyond a single country - without compromising on quality.
A globally respected degree
EU programmes follow the harmonised 6-year / 5,500-hour standard under EU Directive 2005/36/EC - the same framework European doctors train under. Your qualification carries weight worldwide.
Genuinely affordable
Tuition under โฌ20,000/year - from ~โฌ5,000 in Romania - with living costs of โฌ400-โฌ900/month. A full European degree can cost less than a single year at an Indian private college.
Taught fully in English
No language barrier in the classroom. You learn the local language alongside your studies for patient interaction, but every lecture and exam is in English.
Direct entry after Class 12
Enter an integrated 6-year programme straight after school - no separate pre-med degree, and most of our countries require no competitive entrance exam beyond NEET.
Early, hands-on clinical training
European medical schools emphasise patient contact and modern hospital exposure from the early years, building real clinical confidence before you graduate.
Visa-free across Schengen
A residence permit in one Schengen country lets you travel freely across 29 European nations - for electives, conferences, observerships and exploring the continent during your studies.
Truly global career options
An EU degree positions you to return to India (via FMGE/NExT), specialise across the EU, or sit PLAB, USMLE and AMC for the UK, USA and Australia - your future isn't locked to one country.
A safe, welcoming student life
Live in historic, affordable, safe student cities with established Indian communities, vegetarian/Indian food options, and a genuinely international peer group.
Guidance from people who've actually been there
Our co-founder Prem arrived in Europe in 2014 as a student - and faced the worst of it. Alone, with nobody to call when things went wrong.
He rebuilt from nothing, graduated, became an Irish citizen, and built our consultancies on a single promise: no student we guide should ever face what he did. That lived experience - of being a student far from home - is what sets us apart from agents who close your file the moment your visa is stamped.
Med Europe is the medical-school arm of that mission: the same hands-on, honest, end-to-end care from our parent brand Sarem Education - now focused entirely on getting Indian students into affordable, NMC-compliant European medical degrees.

- Taught in the national language (no English MBBS): Austria, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Slovenia, and the Nordics (Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland).
- English, but well above typical budgets for international students: Malta, Switzerland, Liechtenstein.
Trusted by Indian students & parents
They were the only consultancy that showed us the NMC rules in writing before we paid anything. That honesty is why we chose them.
I'm now in my first year in Romania - English-taught, affordable, and I know my degree will count back home. The support never stopped.
Every other agent pushed Georgia. Med Europe explained why an EU degree was the safer choice for us. Worth every rupee.

MBBS in Europe: your FAQs
Yes - provided the university and programme meet India's NMC FMGL 2021 rules: NEET qualification before enrolment, at least 54 months of study plus a 12-month internship at the same institution, English-medium instruction, and passing the FMGE/NExT exam on return. We only ever list programmes that meet these rules.
At the universities we work with, tuition is capped under โฌ20,000 per year - with Romania and Bulgaria from roughly โฌ5,000-โฌ9,000 per year. Living costs across our destinations are typically โฌ400-โฌ900 per month, far below an Indian private medical college.
Yes. Under NMC rules, any Indian student who intends to practise in India must qualify NEET-UG before enrolling in a foreign medical programme. We assess your NEET status as the very first step.
EU and Schengen members with English-taught medicine: Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Cyprus and Greece. We exclude non-EU routes like Georgia and Russia, and also countries that teach medicine only in the local language (Austria, Germany, France) or price English-taught medicine above our cap (Malta).
In most of our destinations, yes. EU countries typically offer non-EU graduates a job-search residence permit of around 6-18 months (for example, ~9 months in Hungary) to find work or start a business, which converts to a work permit once you're employed. Exact durations and rules vary by country and can change - and practising as a doctor also needs medical registration and the right language level. We'll give you the current, country-specific picture before you choose.
Mostly it's self-funded - we're upfront that genuine scholarships for non-EU students on European medical and dental degrees are limited. The main exception is Hungary's Stipendium Hungaricum, a competitive government scholarship (India is a partner country) that can cover tuition, accommodation and a stipend for Medicine and Dentistry. A few universities offer partial merit discounts; otherwise most families fund the degree via an Indian education loan, which we help you plan. We never promise scholarships that aren't real.
Your initial eligibility check and pathway report are free. We're transparent about any service fee upfront, and we'll never recommend a programme that isn't NMC-compliant - regardless of which university pays us.
